A new season of Forza Horizon 5 — called Series 3 — starts soon, and we want to make sure eager racers are fully armed with everything they can possibly know about the next chapter for the racing sim. A flurry of exciting rewards is due to arrive in Mexico over the next few days, which means your best-tuned rides better be in shape to unlock them all. Below, we reveal the expected start time of the new season, list its leaked new cars, and explain a few of the challenges you'll be expected to complete. It was more successful in some areas than others; the game is constantly rewarding to dip into, but it has struggled to make its rather chaotic online multiplayer offering as sticky as its solo challenges.
Beyond its open world format, another hallmark of the Forza Horizon series is its devotion to customization. We're not just talking about modifying cars but allowing the player to modify and customize the gameplay experience itself. It started in Forza Horizon 3 with Blueprint mode, which allowed players to customize the parameters of an event or race.
The familiar narrative of the Horizon Festival carries over here but somehow, it feels richer. The expanded map yields an expanded variety of content, with off-roading, rallying and various other races and missions. You feel more integral to the growth of the festival, rather than simply being a character dropped into it, as you open outposts and competitions across the map.
Carrying over too, happily, will be the continually updated weekly online playlists and competitions, which should keep people busy once they've completed the core game. Forza Horizon 5 has undoubtedly turned out to be the best racing game of 2021. The plus point of the Xbox's flagship racing franchise is the real-life-like graphics with a large collection of cars to explore the world of Mexico. The Forza Horizon 5 features more than 500 cars to play and the numbers are increasing with the updates. The December update of Forza Horizon 5 has now been released and has brought over twenty new cars and numerous bug fixes to the game.
Here is the list of cars and the PC updates you'll get in the December update of FH5. Overall, the list of cars and other scheduled events set to come with Series 3 looks promising. Despite having a promising start, Forza Horizon 5 has faced its fair share of criticism as well. With no shortage of content, Forza Horizon 5 fans will look to continue on the same path with the upcoming release of Series 3. Of course, completionists may need to keep in mind that not all of Forza Horizon 5's new content will be coming out at once with the launch of Season 4. Playground Games paces the new releases through the season, instead, with new car drops and content coming in over the course of four weeks once a new Season is out.
With the majority of Forza Horizon 5's multiplayer issues now resolved, however, players should have the opportunity for some smooth sailing through the events and challenges, at least. The stream is a lot of fun to watch, and everyone involved seems pretty passionate about the new options that are being added. It will be interesting to see how players embrace the vehicles over the coming weeks, and how often we end up seeing them driving around Forza Horizon 5's take on Mexico. The following eight cars will be added to Forza Horizon 5 throughout series 4, with four coming from the festival playlist and four from the car pass DLC. Forza Horizon easily claims the title of the greatest automotive game title currently on the market, allowing car enthusiasts to modify and drive virtually any cool car on an impressive map.
Aside from the cars, Forza Horizon 4's standout feature is its incredibly realistic graphics. And while the game does not catch the real driving experience 100%, it's designed to provide gearhead with endless fun. The latest game, Forza Horizon 5, launched at E3 looks set to be no different.
Allowing you to explore fictionalised Mexican landscapes by car, users can drive hundreds of the world's greatest vehicles with complete freedom. Whether undergoing challenges, embarking on an expedition or racing other players, you can enjoy customising your races, stunts, cars and more. You can also look forward to new challenges, events, and cosmetics for your avatar. Most unique will be the gifting challenge, which will reward all players with an exclusive outfit and secret car if enough people give each other goodies. But hey, enough of my preamble, you can check out the full Let's Go!
At the time of writing, there's no confirmation on what cars could be added to Series 4 of the game. That being said, we know the new series will add a selection of new cars that players can attempt to unlock as part of the Series 4 Festival Playlist. In addition, we should also see four more cars available for Car Pass owners (added DLC that delivers new cars to your game weekly, one per week.). For the sake of clarity, Series 2 delivered 7 new cars (+4 with Car Pass), whilst Series 3 added 8 new cars (+4 with Car Pass), so we imagine we'll see a similar number released with Series 4.
Forza Horizon 5's upcoming Christmas-themed Series 2 kicks off on December 9, bringing more content to the game. The most unique offer is the gifting challenge, which will reward players with an exclusive outfit and secret car if enough people send each other presents. What's a modern racing game if players can't modify the cars they choose?
Every Forza game allows players to customize nearly every part of their car, but that feature is limited by the parts available. Horizon 5 is going to add a lot more to the menu to give players more creative and strategic choices when modifying their cars for both appearance and performance. They go to the gym on a Wednesday, they watch TV on a Friday, they go to the pub on a Thursday and play Horizon on a Saturday. So for those people that love collecting cars, which is I think most of our players, they usually get a new car every week, which I think is a really great reward for working through that stuff. All these cars can be unlocked as rewards for festival playlists and 4 can be claimed from the Car Pass one by one over the next few days as they are released. Players who don't own the Car Pass can purchase each of the 4 cars individually.

The previous game of the Forza series Forza Horizon 4, featured more than 450 cars when it was released back in 2018. In three years, the game introduced 300 new cars and the number went up to 750.
While it will probably be the same in the upcoming game, fans are wondering how many cars they will get to drive when FH5 arrives in November. Season changes, a feature that was introduced in Forza Horizon 4, has been revamped with new weather conditions such as dust storms and tropical rainstorms. I won't pretend that I'm not one of the highly critical minority when it comes to the Forza Horizon franchise. An hour or so at a time of light-hearted fluff and larking around.
I personally loved the first one but 2, 3 and 4 all disappointed in terms of their maps, road networks and longevity. Forza Horizon 5 is coming off the back of a very successful year, which included numerous shortlists in fans and critics 2021 game of the year awards. It's obviously no surprise, given how extraordinary the game looks and plays. More recently it was announced that Forza Horizon 5 has reached over 15 million players within just 65 days of launch.
Now with a thriving player base, all eyes are turning to when the game's next season of content will begin. Keep reading for absolutely everything you need to know for Forza Horizon 5 Series 4. Forza Horizon 5 Series 4 is set to kick off at the start of February offering up four weeks of non-stop Seasonal Events, Championships, rewards, challenges, and more. But, Playground Games hasn't revealed a lot about what Series 4 will hold for players just yet. In true Playground Games fashion, Forza Horizon 5 is going to be getting some new activities and events as part of Update 4, some of which will last throughout the season. The Horizon World Cup will introduce the concept of large-scale competitions to the game, with players using vehicles from specific countries to represent them in action.
The Horizon World Cup, Chinese cars, and a number of other additions will be made available on Forza Horizon 5's February 10th weekly reset. Forza Horizon 5 is the latest entry in the open-world racing franchise from Playground Games. It promises a 50% larger world map than its predecessor, set in the jungles, beaches, and cities of Mexico.
Available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, the new title promises to put players behind the wheel of a bevy of sweet performance cars, as well as some oddball rides, too. In a video posted to Youtube by Don Joewon Son, we get a look at 143 cars that will end up in the final game. The other thing that we saw in the is a feature called Forza Link. Forza Link is like a little AI assistant which is intended to help you find things that are relevant to do with those other people that you meet online. It knows your campaign status, your progression, the kind of things that you like to do, and it also knows that for everybody else. Link can also know that you haven't actually done it yet this week, it'll pick out content you haven't yet completed.
So it might pop up with a prompt where you can ask this person to come into the Trial with you. And just hit the button, it'll ask them, they can say yes, and in the case of the Trial, it actually just starts matchmaking immediately. Playground Games has recently unveiled the list of cars coming to the game with the upcoming series 3 update. With the Horizon World Cup taking place across Series 4, the Festival Playlist is undergoing some changes and will focus primarily on racing. With Showcase Remixes, these events have been changed to include different cars, music, the time of day, weather, and more.
Playground later teased that Series 5 will focus more on PR Stunts. We've been keeping an eye on the car list and taking a detailed look at the Mexico map. Plenty of cars are making their Forza debuts, so let's take a look at those. It's nice to see such a strong showing of post-launch support from Playground, especially after Forza Horizon 5 had such a blockbuster launch last month. Xbox claimed Playground's new racing game had surpassed 10 million players less than two weeks after launch, making it the single biggest Xbox game launch ever.
That was likely aided by its launch through the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, but it's still nonetheless a staggering achievement for Forza Horizon 5. Of course, in addition to these brand new cars, there will be lots of challenges and opportunities to unlock some existing cars in the game as well. The full seasonal leak is detailed courtesy of Frankly Forza on YouTube, but here's a recap of the big stuff. As with every new season, Forza Horizon 5 Series 3 promises to introduce a bevy of new rides to the game.
Leaks suggest these are the new vehicles you'll be able to unlock through seasonal progress when the point grind begins. You can watch gameplay of most of these cars courtesy of DungG on YouTube. This new content will no doubt include lots of new cars for players to unlock, as well as points to gain and challenges to complete. Since Forza Horizon 5 has continued the seasonal progression model of its predecessor, this system of granular content releases has allowed Playground Games to carefully curate what content comes out when.
With that in mind, Season 4 will see the introduction of some cars players have never seen before in a Forza game, and which have all been sourced from Chinese manufacturers. Dom is non-binary and prefers he/him pronouns, but uses and embraces all (she/her, they/them). Hailing from the island of Jamaica, he has been playing video games from a young age after being introduced by his uncle and has since been hooked.
He has then found a passion for writing and believes one of his main purposes in life is to change people's lives with the mere structure of letters, words and phrases. While the entire list of cars is extensive, there are still many more to be added after the release of the game. We can only speculate the number of cars that will be available after all have been added. With a bigger map and more places to explore, Forza is trying to ensure players have plenty of options to choose from.
Forza Horizon 4 has become a genre-defining game thanks to its ever-expanding car inventory, solid gameplay mechanics, and rich content. The fifth entry to the series will offer the largest open world in a racing game. Players will take the wheel and will get to explore the endless deserts of Mexico alongside 11 different biomes. The variety in missions, racing, and cars will make the new game the most ambitious Forza ever. On the Microsoft Store, the standard edition of the Forza Horizon 5 starts from Rs. 3,999. The Deluxe edition costs Rs. 5,399 and the Premium edition costs Rs. 6,599.
On Steam, the prices of all three editions in ascending order are Rs. 3,499, Rs. 4,499, Rs. 5,499 respectively. To download and install the full game, both Xbox and Windows players will need approximately 110GB of storage. Players will keep on the right side of the road in the fifth title of the Forza Horizon franchise. Previously the game was situated in the United Kingdom and Australia and hence players had to drive on the left side of the road. Along with the new games, players will get to experience Horizon Arcade which comes with 12 minigames that can be enjoyed by the players. In this mode players can join up with each other in the open world map and race against a crop of AI-powered opponents.
In between events players can hang out in a style that is similar to a car meet and then drive together as a group to the next location on the tour. Forza Horizon 5 Series 2 arrives tomorrow giving racers an opportunity to win some vehicles, clothing items and car horns through Festival Playlist challenges. This Series also has slightly fewer points on offer, and the target scores for Season and Series rewards are also lower. In addition, all the Playlist-exclusive cars are now the lower 25-point rewards, and many of the events now gift cars that you can use in the next season's playlist.
Every time you complete an event you'll score points towards the nation in question. Drive a Japanese car and Japan earns points, drive an American car and the USA scores points, and so on. The points accumulate across Series 4, and whichever country gets the most will generate a mystery prize gift for all players — likely a car from that nation in a special World Cup livery. Similar to Forza Horizon 4, the team at Playground Games has implemented a new Car Pass for Horizon 5. Every few weeks, players with the Car Pass will unlock access to new cars. The best part about Forza Horizon games is the massive open world, combined with a huge collection of cars with which to explore the map.
In Forza Horizon 5, the players are taken to festive Mexico, which celebrates racing all the time. Forza Horizon 5 Series 4 will once again feature ten new cars for players to unlock. Two will be available each week for completing events within a Season and earning a specific amount of points. Playground bring out limited-time events that gamers can complete online. These events will need to be completed as part of a set car class. Series 3 of Forza Horizon 5 will be the natural successor to the ongoing Series 2.
Forza Horizon 5's Series 3 is set to commence from January 9, 2022. It will delight Forza fans for sure with the number of cars, new events, and challenges that will be added to the game. Forza Horizon 5's developer, Playground Games, has been hard at work producing post-launch content for the game to keep its players busy. Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games have officially revealed a car list that will be included in Forza Horizon 5 at launch. Though this list isn't all of the cars that will be available, it will surely create hype among Forza and car fanatics alike. With 1,600bhp stock from a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 powering only the rear wheels it can certainly be a handful.
